LET’S WELCOME DR. KAREN HOMSI- PRZYBYLO TO ORTHODONTIC EXPERTS!

Des Plaines, Illinois – June 21st, 2023 – Orthodontic Experts is excited to announce the addition of our newest doctor and team member, Dr. Karen Homsi- Przybylo. It is truly exhilarating to watch the continuous expansion of Orthodontic Experts in 2023. As Dr. Yaroslav Yarmolyuk– Founder and President mentions, “We are very excited to have Dr. Karen Homsi- Przybylo join the team! As our practice keeps growing, we also grow our orthodontists. This is a great time for Dr. Karen Homsi- Przybylo to jump right in! The entire Orthodontic Experts team is happy to have her.” Dr. Karen Homsi- Przybylo will be starting in Orthodontic Experts Harwood Heights and Chicago- Bucktown locations this summer!
As a proud Midwesterner, Dr. Karen Homsi- Przybylo was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. She then went on to further her education from college to residency in Chicago. While attending the College of Dentistry (COD) at University of Illinois – Chicago (UIC), she earned summa cum laude, or a degree that is earned with “the highest distinction.” With her knowledge and skillset just beginning to bloom, she then decided to venture into the field of orthodontics. So, while still at UIC, she then obtained her MS in Oral Sciences through the COD Department of Orthodontics. However, because Dr. Karen Homsi- Przybylo understands how important education is to this field, she has continued to further her understanding of orthodontics by achieving numerous certifications. Moreso, Dr. Karen Homsi- Przybylo has been awarded many scholarships and awards for her hard work, knowledge, and dedication.
Dr. Karen Homsi- Przybylo’s greatest joy in life is seeing a patient’s smile turn into one of confidence and happiness. This has allowed her to lead her role with compassion and understanding to all patients, regardless of differences. Furthermore, with the help of her in-depth knowledge and continuous education, Dr. Karen Homsi- Przybylo has successfully published three different articles related to orthodontia. Through her constant understanding, education, and research, she has become a highly knowledgeable asset to the overall orthodontic field.

[I] love working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, [and I even] strive to treat [my] patients with compassion [by providing] optimal care customized to their needs.”
When Dr. Karen Homsi- Przybylo is not in the office providing dream smiles, she can be found spending time with her family: her husband, her daughter, and their dog. Furthermore, her favorite activities consist of biking along the lake, visiting museums, exploring local food scenes, and even BBQing with her family and friends.
Dr. Karen Homsi- Przybylo is fluent in English, conversational Spanish, the Syrian dialect of Arabic, and even some Polish.
